Before I start, I would like to state that I am a published children book author who is currently working on a series of 3 books for ages 9-11. If you have ever lived with/had to put up with anyone with specific types of personality disorders, you probably know just how much they have negative things to say about everything positive. Yet another tactic to make you doubt your decisions, question your successes and efforts and subdue and manipulate you so that you reject help from outsiders and remain dependent on them who may often not genuinely want to see you thrive.

The length of Ariana Grande's dress at the #ArethaFranklinFuneral not to excuse the Pastor's actions of holding her innapropriately while making her uncomfortable, reminded me of how it was growing up in an African household. My mum was so strict to the extent where we couldn't wear a pair of jeans to church. She always insisted that church attire on Sunday had to be different from what we wore on weekdays.
