When school attendance is prized over *everything* something is seriously wrong with the educational system. Where's the empathy, the compassion, the ability to see the bigger picture? The current drive on attendance *at all costs* regardless of circumstances lacks humanity 1/

We are repeatedly being told that we have to ‘learn to live with covid’. And at some level, yes, I guess we do. BUT & there is a big but coming … (1)
Those who shout this the loudest seem to mean that we must rip off our masks, forget all social distancing, no longer self isolate & return to life as it was pre pandemic regardless of the consequences of this & that we are somehow ‘living in fear’ if we don’t agree. (2)
