March organisers expect it to be the largest yet, claiming 500,000 are expected. The demo is avoiding Whitehall and the Cenotaph 🧵 Several hours earlier, from 9am, far right activists and football hooligans will begin gathering in central London. Some claim to be there to “defend” the Cenotaph and other monuments, while others are planning to mob up in pubs along the route of the demo

Today, Stephen Lennon (aka Tommy Robinson) failed in his attempt to overturn a Stalking Prevention Order, issued against him in 2021 after he harassed a national newspaper journalist. He’s now bleating that he was robbed of justice, so I thought I would set out some facts 1/9 In January 2021, Lennon was emailed for a comment about a pending story claiming that he had used donations from supporters for drugs and prostitutes. Rather than email a reply, Lennon turned up at the home of the journalist, with a friend, at 10:30pm on a Sunday night 2/9

Last night, Stephen Lennon (aka Tommy Robinson) did a very bizarre livestream even by his standards. Billed as “Fake rape allegations, Andrew Tate and the truth”, Lennon leapt to Tate’s defence, trying to claim his friend was a victim of an establishment stitch-up. At the heart of the conspiracy was @hopenothate, who Lennon claimed was part of The Matrix. According to Lennon, we were instrumental in bringing action down on Tate, just as we had done with him over the years.

Just come back from a day at the High Court. I have never seen Stephen Lennon (aka Tommy Robinson) so flustered and unsure under questioning. He had a total nightmare and lied and lied again. I counted 24 lies that we can prove as such Several of his lies related to his bankruptcy form he submitted in 2021 and signed as a true and accurate account. He failed to disclose that he bought a house for £90,000 in 2018 and sold for £200,000 in October 2020.

Thousands of hooligans, far right activists & veterans turned out in central London today supposedly to defend the war memorials. Instead, there were repeated violent clashes with the police. The day ended with an image of one of them urinating on the memorial to PC Keith Palmer. Their actions today give an absolute lie to the idea that they are peaceful demonstrators, are law-abiding or care about our institutions. Many of them were thugs intent on trouble from the very start, fueled on booze from an early hour.
