Analysing every team at the Tour de France 2025:
1. Visma Lease a Bike
What a strong team, maybe even the strongest in the race. The second biggest favourite for the overall win Vingegaard is joined by current Giro winner Yates and Paris Nice winner Jorgenson. But still it will be all in for Jonas.
But I am also very very curious about the role of Wout van Aert. With a green points classification giving bigger points in the hilly stages, will he target it once again? Will he sprint in sprint stages with no Kooij in the roster? Or will he just babysitting Jonas? #TDF20252. Alpecin Deceuninck:
MVDP, Philipsen & Groves. They brought all their biggest names here. Curious how Philipsen will be in the battle against Merlier & Milan plus if he will be also in the battle for the green.
MVDP… he will definitely target the hilly stages in the first week, but many fans are also dreaming about targeting green. But with Philipsen in the team, I don’t know how he will collect points in the sprint stages. But I feel this might be his best Grand Tour of his life.
Watch out also for Emiel Verstrynge, Alpecin brought him here for a reason.

Ranking all the Giro d’Italia teams based on their performances. Hope you will like it. 🩷
1. Q36.5 team: 0/10
What was that?! I secretly hoped Pidcock will attack and attack, go for stage wins, maybe KOM jersey and ertentain us and not for some anonymous 8th GC place… but it was worse than that. He ended 16th overall. invisible through the whole Giro, although he got some TOP10 stage results. But generally all the team was invisible, no rider made some mark in this race. And I am not talking about some great results, but also going to the breakaways and being seen. I can’t believe how much talking and effort there were just to make Pidcock’s team getting an extra wildcard from UCI. And for this? #GirodItalia

Were they even in this race? I can’t remember any single moment of them. Yes, Milan Fretin finished 2nd in the Napoli stage, but that was absolutely all.
