(1/10) So: CineSational is the best nighttime spectacular I have ever seen. I’ve had a while to think about it—nothing tops it.

Its fundamental elements—popular IP, fountains, fireworks, music, drones—don’t break the mold, but the show executes them ridiculously well. My review: Image 2/ I should preface this by saying I’m a bit of a film music nerd—a passion second only to, well, theme parks :)—so the premise of CineSational really spoke to me. A successor to the nighttime show I loved, anchored by music? Sign me up!

I had high expectations for the show. Image

I'm going to try and be as polite as possible here, but yeah... this really makes my blood boil. The carer's allowance is already so meagre it's an embarrassment. Who's at fault if people unwittingly get paid more? Certainly not the carers. I'm incensed. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-690311… My mother was an unpaid carer throughout my childhood—I have been a paid carer at various points, too—so when I tell you that the standard of care unpaid carers provide is *head and shoulders* above the NHS and wider care sector, I'm not lying.

Just seen #TheCreator in IMAX. A near masterpiece until it goes up to space.

The opening 90 minutes are so jaw-droppingly perfect, by the time it reaches its final act there really isn’t anything else to say, & nothing much we haven’t seen before.

I think I liked it. A lot? 1/2 I’m not sure I’ll see another film as visually spectacular as #TheCreator this year—but you’ve heard that from others already so I’ll tell you how it made me feel instead.

This film is *brutal*. People die, and it makes damn well sure you know. 2/5

#MissionImpossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 is a committed, brutal, epic triumph.

Occasionally overwhelming but never tiring, any potential to lose its way emotionally is averted by the expert rendering of key sequences—some so brilliant and pioneering I NEED to see them again. 1/7 2/ The stakes couldn’t be clearer, and McQuarrie establishes a sense of direction that leaves you satisfied despite the overall “Mission” remaining incomplete.

#MissionImpossible7 moves at breakneck speed—more than Fallout—but its superb rhythm prevents it from feeling overlong.

#JohnWick4 was an absolute BLAST! Bigger in pretty much every conceivable way—from locations to choreography to cinematography—I was stunned for most of its (long!) runtime. I’m not yet sure if it’s the best in the series, but I do think it should be the last. I have thoughts… Firstly, I’m *very* glad I saw #JohnWick4 in IMAX. The visuals and sound design fully deserved the biggest, loudest experience possible. Those first few punches blew me away and **literally shook** my seat. I was sold within the first 30 seconds…
