LWJ rubbed his forehead and pressed the phone closer to his ear. His lips parting, he whispered, "I don't want this anymore."
Silence echoed through the line and LWJ stood stranded in a limbo, waiting for time to feel real again.
He thought he heard a noise on the other end but the line went back to silent, while LWJ held his breath, not daring to say anything else.
