Everyone has a different taste and tolerance for working, and it changes throughout life. If I love what I’m doing and am energized by it, 40 hrs/week only whets my appetite. I've also had long periods where 30 hrs/wk feels right. Neither is wrong, people. Just do you! People who tell you how to count your working hours never ask about your circumstances or goals first. It's not a simple equation and there are many variables. And given that we're not all the same, I don't understand why we need to agree on a single number.
