Many people have been asking me about life of a doctor in army in India 🇮🇳(Indian Army Medical Corps).

I thought I will pen down a few general thoughts and share with you all.

You can ask me questions which I will be happy to answer.
#MedTwitter #IndianArmy 1.Advantages of joining Army as a doctor

a) Excellent work life balance.

Army ensures you get to relax after work. Protocols are well laid out.
There won’t be burnout just due to overworking. 80 paid leaves per year is very good to relax, travel and explore life.

Memories at your first place of work often stay fresh even after a long time. Sharing an experience of mine from Internship which helped me to improve the way I deal with my colleagues.
#MedTwitter #JIPMER #Internship I was an intern and was doing my rotation in department of medicine. We used to have floor duties where we had to take care of patients admitted to the ward as per the PG resident’s direction.

I see many MBBS students and young doctors in Twitter. I thought I will post some thoughts of mine about career choices here which may help a few people.
#MedTwitter #NEETPG #PLAB #USMLE When I was in college from 2008-14, there was no provision of high speed internet till final year and internship. So there were no YouTube videos to help and guide me regarding career choices.

I have been learning how to value relationships throughout my life and God has been kind to teach me this for free.

This is a recent incident of a dramatic reunion after a decade.

#PLABJourney #VISA #Delhi As part of my VISA appointment I had to travel to Delhi from Dehradun. I planned to take the train instead of bus this time and decided to stay with my childhood friend who is working in Delhi presently.

There are so many people in this world.

But in our life we meet only a handful of them and we meet them for a purpose.

So be thankful and be sincere when you relate closely with any individual.

(1/n) It was mid 2008 and I was quite ecstatic as I was joining college for MBBS course. I had prepared for one year for selection and it all seemed surreal. But the fact that I will be staying away from home was bringing occasional pain as well.
