What Jarvis really means, is that the signatory descendants of those treaties, who are Mi'kmaw Metis must never be acknowledged or talked about, Never ever ever !!. No one must know, otherwise it clouds the issues !! 🤔😉

Although she opened a can of worms, she didn't really want to explore #EasternMetis, apparently the only ones who get to have their say are Darryl, and also where is MNC's support for the Mi'kmaw? What about that MOU ??
Apparently I started a fight, when she is the one who popped up saying there are no eastern Metis?
I thought it was wonderful when families, kinships and communities re-connect but she doesn't think so ?

Umm I don't think .. I can show just as much history of those in the West who are recently finding out their heritage and re-connecting as those in the East !!
That 2002 Metis defintion he is referring to, ONLY applies to members of MNC , there are more National Metis org's than just MNC, even though the gov has chosen to only deal with them due to their having rights to oil and gas. Chartrand uses his organization to run over

The one-and-a-half men- the story of Jim Brady and Malcolm Norris, Metis patriots of the twentieth century-Dobbin, Murray-1981- Brady knew that a reinterpretation of Canadian and Metis history would not suffice to persuade the commissioners that “relief” was an inadequate
solution to the problem. The enquiry’s frame of reference and the government’s objective was focused narrowly on the present. In order to promote self-determination Brady would have to draw the historical argument further and illustrate that there was a continuity between the
"Ex-Senate staffer says she felt forced out for questioning colleague's Métis identity claims | CBC News": cbc.ca/news/indigenou…
well as usual @CBCNews@CBCIndigenous are not being fully honest. There are 2 national Metis orgs, both have different definitions of what it means to be Metis and only one of them was involved in putting the Metis into the constitution and it wasn't MNC or MMF .. it was CAP
If you read the Constitution and bylaws of the Union of The Nova Scotia Indians - UNSI you will see Metis were recognized in the east in the 70's. MNC was not incorporated until 1984. I think your staffer also really needs to read the supreme court Daniels decision as well ..
One day I wouldn't be surprised to see a class action lawsuit coming your way for everything you have done politically to sway public perception of Metis people only being MNC Metis. Not one word about the Daniels decision, especially when you calling out people online.
CBC and journalists have a duty of care to be fair, impartial, investigate fairly etc .. I don't think Colleen Gray received that. I don't think many people see that. The liberals have turned CBC into quite the propaganda machine that works with their politics. #EasternMetis may

However, the Eastern Metis have been in their bylaws and constitutions of the Union of Nova Scotia Indians almost since their incorporation date, in 1975 they got their own core funding and were the Metis and NonStatus Indian Association of Nova scotia.
Isn't Karma a funny thing .. when you go and attack others constantly and it comes back to bite you in the ass. Everything you say about others, lol .. She also doesn't know others and she has never let that stop her !! .. #ChelseaVowel
OMG .. can we say hypocrite much !!! Everything she has said about those of us in the east !! Unfreaking believable !!
Gross huh, being told how you need to self identify, you helped shaped this war and now cry crocodile tears ? Not so much fun being torn apart online is it ?
