Strong presence in Clinical Chemistry & Hematology with meaningful market share in India’s reagent market.

With #BajajHousingFinance & #PNGadgil allotments out, many have said they didn’t get an allotment despite thinking it was a sure shot

For example, applying 10x BHNI in Bajaj doesn't give you an guaranteed allocation even if subscribed < 10x

Read thread till end & Bookmark Image Explanation:

Imagine 100,000 people applied with 10,000 available allotments.

You submit 10 applications. You might think, "If 1 in 10 wins, and I have 10 applications, I should get one?"

Not quite! Even with 10 applications, it’s possible none gets selected due to randomness

With #PNGadgil IPO open for subscription, there is confusion regarding its relationship with #PNGS & specifically #PNGSGargi, another listed SME

Let’s clarify: #PNGadgil (purple logo) & #PNGS (red logo) are two different groups but share same family legacy

Here's the history🧵Image 1/ Origins:

The P. N. Gadgil jewelry business was established in 1832 by Ganesh Gadgil, and over generations, it became one of Maharashtra’s most iconic jewelry brands.

By the 20th century, it was a major player in the gold and diamond retail space. 💎 #JewelryLegacy

🧵 #BajajHousingFinanceIPO is around the corner, with buzz about shareholder quota & general application process.

One of those rare IPOs where can apply more than 1 application from same PAN.

Here's everything you need to know 👇 Bookmark to keep handy.

#IPO #Investment #BajajFinance #BajajHousingFinanceImage 1/ Who can apply?

Anyone can apply under Retail or NII (BHNI or SHNI) categories.

For the shareholder quota, you must have held at least 1 share of Bajaj Finserv or Bajaj Finance on August 30th (RHP filing date).

So, you must’ve bought by August 29th to be eligible.

When a subsidiary company of a large company, usually a conglomerate, is getting listed it often has SH quota.

SH quota is reserved allocation (usually 5%-15%) for existing shareholders of parent company.

This gives them exclusive access to a portion of the new shares in the IPO of the subsidiary company getting listed. 📈🔓

🔥 #RightsIssue has been a hot topic lately.

This thread covers overview of rights issue, benefits & risks, how to apply, and my strategy.

It's a slightly long thread, so bookmark for later. 🔖

Retweet for reach and comment with any questions! 💬Image 🚀 What is a Rights Issue?

A rights issue is a method companies use to raise additional capital from existing shareholders.

The company offers "rights" to shareholders, allowing them to buy new shares at a discounted price.

This is often done to fund expansion or strengthen the balance sheet. 💼

With multiple #buybacks doing rounds, it's a good opportunity as retailer to enjoy arbitrage & try to make relatively less risky gains.

🧵to cover basics of buybacks & my buyback strategy to evaluate open #Buybacks.

Bookmark the thread to go thru the deets. Retweet for reach. Image Why do companies do buyback?

- When company feels it’s share price is undervalued & expects good performance later

- To reward its long-term shareholders with higher price exit

- EPS increases for company as shares reduce

- To enjoy Tax Arbitrage (not applicable after Oct 1st)

For most SME’s, recovery in last 3 years has been so steep due to low base (thanks to covid) that when we look at just last 3 years in isolation, we see a perfect upward trajectory & we extrapolate to further years.
Taking #svlvan example.

@rohiitian
(1/3) For ex – These are the financials of #Sylvanplyboard, an IPO which closed today with very good demand.

On first glance, revenue and pat both are continuously going up from 165 cr in 2021 to 203 cr in 2023. (2/n) Image

#SME #IPOoftheDay

With 2 IPO’s closing on 19th June, I am reviewing #Unitedcotfab as the other issue #GPES is well covered.

TLDR, will apply in #Cotfab for listing pop but it's a high risk & a short-term trade.

I will most definitely not hold beyond listing day. My read below: Image Cotfab is in textile industry & makes open end recycled yarn - input for denim manufacturers like ALBL, Vinod spinners etc

A highly fragmented & competitive industry

Promoters have family business in textile with 40+ years workex. Also manage listed co. – United polyfab (1/n) Image

Today is the closing of MB issue i.e., #Ixigo. This is an interesting company & am subscribing atleast for listing pop with a few HNI lots

Here’s my read of the company Image Parent company is an online travel agency (OTA) which commenced operations as a meta search website & subsequently transitioned to bookings on its own platform. In today's installment of #ipooftheday, tough job to recommend any of the 3 open ipo's. All 3 : average to reject category 🤦

Yet, I am taking a risk & applying some lots in #sattrix (hoping 1 lot allotment)

Have a feeling this will be painful & taking a trade when none exists. Image From my read, it's another IT company in cybersecurity & doesn't have its own software
Because it is commoditized IT play, an extremely competitive industry competing on price and no entry barrier.
The promoter is a seasoned professional with 10+ years of running Sattrix (1/n) Image

For today, we are discussing a mainboard IPO closing having SME issue size. Even with negative sentiment,it is an easy decision to apply to #Kronox

Read why: Image The company is in Chemical industry & manufactures high-purity specialty fine chemicals for multiple end user industries.

It was formed in 2008 & operates 3 manufacturing plants in Vadodara, Gujurat and has 188 products in current portfolio with further 122 in pipeline (1/n) Image

With wide spread negativity around the election shock results, liquidity will reduxe in pirmary market but I am going in with #TBICorn. Most of my money is blocked in #Aimtron so, I am putting retail lots in this issue. Here’s my read of the company Image Company is in Agri commodity business - a major player in corn milling offering cleaned Corn Grits, Corn Meal, Corn Flakes, Broken Maize & Corn Flour. With multiple IPO’s ending every day, I have decided to document my rationale on IPO’s I am applying & why. Plan to be regular with these going forward as well.

For today I am applying full force in #Aimtron.

Here’s why - A quick thread. Image Company is one stop solution for electronics systems (Design & manufacturing of PCB’s) in various industries such as IoT, Drones, EV chargers, Defense, Industrial etc. So, the company can be thought as proxy of electronics industry which is growing and import dependent rn. CG released its H2’24 results along with an investor presentation today. First look – Doesn't look good & results leave more open questions then gives answers. Here is my naïve read. Please correct me if I am seeing something wrong: Image CG standalone made 48.5 Cr in H1’24. Group closed at 135.5 Cr of which Wahren business (all H2) was 38.3 Cr so, standalone did 48.7 Cr? H2 over H1 growth 0.4%? Company has mentioned this is due to pruning low margin customers So, expect margin to improve. Apparently not! (1/n) Image
