The president's FY26 budget request for NASA came out on Friday. It will mostly eradicate NASA science and NASA citizen science with it. The scale of the proposed cuts is so massive it's hard to say precisely what will remain in their wake. A thread... Here are the ways I'm aware of so far that this proposed budget will affect NASA citizen science.

•It will end most of the upcoming missions that would provide data underlying NASA citizen science projects.
