NEW: The leadership of U.S. Cyber Command’s key digital warfighting force will officially change hands on Friday.

Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Lorna Mahlock will assume command of the Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF) during a ceremony at Fort Meade, Md.

The panel chair finished his time w/o asking one question and mostly just yelling at the secretary about the border, so hopes are low. @SecMayorkas "I think there's over eight reports that Congress does do from DHS and CISA," @RepGarbarino says, noting the cyber wing's force structure assessment is over a year later.

@SecMayorkas promises to follow up and says DHS is working "mightily" to complete congressional homework.
