A couple of setting to remember to change when you set up a new PC (and to check if you have set on your old PC, for that matter). 1 update restart notifications - having this on by default would fix 90% of the complaints I see about Windows updating without warning 2 how much do you want to help distribute Windows updates? this speeds other people up but if your upload bandwidth isn't the best, go turn this down (you can't turn it off)
