I'm interested in intuitive ways of 'functional' drawings (where you can apply logic to manipulate it programmatically), but without having to write code.

One reason you'd want to do this is because it's hard enough to imagine stuff without having to think about translating it into an arbitrary text language.

Design as we refer to it here is about
- preparing the plans (for a work to be executed), especially to plan the form and structure of that work
- marking stuff out; to make a plan and write it down.
NOT about making things look good. Most programmers are averse to both. Why?
