8 Queens problem
When I started programming, more than 30 years ago, one way to stay up to date on the subject was to read magazines in the sector. In one of these, they proposed logical-mathematical games, to be solved by writing computer programs.

One of these games presented the "8 Queens Problem". Arrange 8 queens on an 8x8 board, so that no queen threatens or is threatened by another. And count how many solutions to the problem exist.
For an 8x8 board, there are 92 ways to arrange 8 queens that solve the problem.
