@overpractised Hi, thanks for reading and for your interest. A bit of all of those really. The main features of CLT that are at odds with current developmental and cognitive theory are that (a) some of the processes it states develop instinctively probably don't - things like 1/ @overpractised ... problem-solving, planning, critical thinking etc being more about learning strategies, procedures and habits (as well as knowledge) - things that develop through experience.
