Some other newborn advice I keep getting is to "sleep in shifts."

With my partner breastfeeding, that sounds to me like I sleep while she does everything and that’s crap advice.

Here's a list I've found to be supportive of her while she feeds (and you can use them too): I keep her hydrated. She's slugging down a 26oz tumbler nearly every session and she can't go get the water and give it to herself. I refill it and hold it up every 20 seconds to see if she wants some. It works well. @YETICoolers wins for form factor here: yeti.com/en_US/drinkwar…

I have a terrible idea that I need to get out there in case somehow it’s not terrible.

1/? There’s one way @JoeBiden can win the debates and capture the rural and undecided conservative voter on Tuesday: he needs to punch Trump in the face. On stage.

Hear me out.

I was about to try to climb this, but I dropped my wedding ring into a crack on the freaking mountain top. Image It’s all jagged rock with big pockets. I bent and folded myself in between cracks trying to find it. No luck.

Perspective on intro- vs extroversion people need to hear right now. "It’s often said that extroverts get their energy from people, while introverts are energized by solitude. The data show that’s a myth."

"In a pair of studies, people rated their energy hourly or weekly. ...

Time for @baconandcoconut to keynote on ethics and what we can learn from statistics that lie. #chaosscon Deb Nicholson keynoting “We thought computers would save us from drudgery, and then we invented email.”

We’re getting into why brains and the people who use them are strange and I love it 💕 #chaosscon

Thread/request for help: I’m mentoring a 19 y-o family friend and she’s not convinced the burden on college debt is worth the prospects. What advice would you give yourself if you were 19 today? More context: She’s interested in programming, and I think she’d flourish in a community that supports her (and inclusive of people like her), and she’s excited by the idea of bootcamps. She’s in Norfolk, VA so in-person ones are less likely.

The legondary @geekygirldawn and @castrojo are about to describe the community view of how people jump into Kuberentes contribution. I’m here for this story. #KubeCon Image “Like everything in Kubernetes, we define everything as a yaml file.”

He’s not joking. It’s a thing. 😂

But don’t worry — there are friendly interfaces elsewhere in the community.

Yes, time for @bryanl to take the stage and highlight projects he wants us to know a little better. #KubeCon Bryan Liles taking the stage! First up: Vitess. Simply put it’s a cloud native database. "If someone gave you a story for navigation, if you challenge the story, you are challenging the storyteller."

If we use maps instead of stories, we take some of the politics out of the discussion of where we go next. Feeling thankful to learning from @swardley this morning 😍. @swardley It was fantastic to hear from you this morning @swardley! Thank you again.

I'm also the one with the question about culture. What I was thinking is this:
