Probably the worst essay I’ve ever read. Embracing the rot of internalized misogyny and patriarchy and then saying, over and over, but if I can see it and choose to partake, I am therefore above it. Necrotic and mean to the core. A miserable and ugly life.
admitting that you became a writer because your ex dumped you for one — indeed everything written here and in her life is done for the pleasure and power of men despite the faux-feminist self-aware gaze (which I so deeply tire of) — is information you couldn’t beat out of me.
