Many have commented already, but none have mentionned 2 *major* issues Prof Peter White seems to have omitted.
Of 8 points in @JNNP_BMJ piece, two are simply false.

1) PEM was not a new requirement in the 2021 GL.
2) A key study did use fixed-increment GET.

This is wrong: the previous NICE GL (CG53 2007) *also* required PEM for diagnosis. (see photo p14).
