This depresses the hell out of me. I know I'm far from the only one in this bind, but I'm constantly torn between trying to make spaces more welcoming, and convincing women/gender minorities that these topics are worth getting involved with. Nevermind doing the work itself.
I mean, I am a woman in open science. I love it, and I think the associated activities and experiments in how we do science are incredibly exciting. I also love the fact that we are critical of ourselves. We might be wrong. And we'll DEFINITELY be/stay wrong if we try to build...
