My WSJ investigation w/ the inimitable @anfuller shows master's programs at prestigious private universities often leave grads in worse financial shape than those at for-profit colleges. 1/ wsj.com/articles/finan… Columbia's film program is the worst of any master's, in any field, at any major university, in terms of debt to early-career earnings. There, recent grads with federal loans borrowed a median $181,000--and had median earnings under $30,000 two years after graduation. 2/
