My first time home to Canada in more than 3 years and fined $6,255 at Pearson for not agreeing to the ToS of the #ArriveCan app and not disclosing my vaccination status.
Was detained by @OPP_News officers and threatened with arrest at the request of @CanBorder and @GovCanHealth
The @OPP_News officer told me that it was within my right to refuse to use the #ArriveCan app, but that exercising that right would result in a $6,255 fine for failing to comply with the Quarantine Act.
