Paul did a lot of great work evaluating our paper. I want to clarify a few things... 1. We do a lot of legwork in the paper to say proxies for anti-LGBTQ+ beliefs are strongly associated with anti-LGBTQ+ beliefs (e.g. conservatism, partisanship) in the studies where we use these proxies.
