A delegation from four African countries was visiting Kyiv and Bucha when Russia launched a missile strike. Sirens and explosions were heard over a wide area.

A spokesperson for the South African president said they heard nothing. He called news of the attack “misinformation.” Russian aggressors attacked the city the African delegation was visiting. Ukrainian defenders saved their lives by shooting down the missiles.

But Russian propaganda leads its victims, including spokesperson Vincent Magwenya, to deny their own experience and affirm a lie.

Out of fear, the Russian fascist invaders are acting recklessly in anticipation of the coming Ukrainian counter-offensive.

Instead of positioning for a defence, the rashists are deploying their remaining combat forces and reserves for futile offensive actions.

1/5 The Russians have been been leading costly infantry assaults in the direction of Kup'yans'k, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Mar'yinka.

Ukrainian defenders pushed the Russian fascist invaders back to the north and south of Bakhmut, taking positions in the areas of Berkhivka and Klishchiyvika and holding them against enemy attacks.

Also, the rashists made more than 30 unsuccessful attacks on Orikhovo-Vasylivka. Despite suffering substantial losses, the Russian fascist invaders continue to storm Bakhmut. The Great Power democracies must abandon their reckless policy of refusing to engage the Russian fascist invaders of Europe in direct combat. Ukraine has been in the vanguard – the West’s sole fighting defender – for nine long years. Ukraine’s peer democracies have powerful militaries that are idle while people who could be saved suffer and die. Slowness to act and refusal to fight in the face of the genocide by Russians of the Ukrainian people is cowardly, immoral and unwise.

Russia invaded Ukraine nine years ago, on 20 February 2014.

At that time, Ukrainians and people who understand the Russian terrorist state recommended:

– declaring war to recognize a state of war exists
– imposing a total embargo on Russia
– delivering arms to Ukraine

Under the Budapest Memorandum, Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons in exchange for security assurances from the nuclear-armed states.

Those security assurances are valueless if they’re not equal in magnitude to the power Ukraine would possess if it had retained nuclear weapons. Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, violating the Budapest Memorandum. The US, Britain, France and China failed to make good on their promise.

As a consequence, the rules-based international order in place since 1945 collapsed. Nuclear non-proliferation is dead. The world is at war.

After the Kerch bridge explosions the invaders are panicking. Russian soldiers flee Crimea to the Russian Federation on the highway through Berdyans'k and Mariupol'. Russian colonists flee Crimea via ferry and the single-lane bridge. Collaborators flee Kherson region to Crimea. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported local occupation officials and collaborators leaving Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region for Crimea.

Although these traitors to Ukraine have Russian passports they're not allowed to enter the Russian Federation. Twice cursed.

Explosion and fire on the Kerch Bridge, the connection between the Russian Federation and Russian-invaded/occupied Crimea, Ukraine. The fire is on the railway portion of the bridge. At least two rail cars are on fire.

In its evening report, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said defenders in Ozeryanivka were attacked by Russian invasion forces. This is certainly a mistake for Ozaryanivka.

A single letter marks the difference between liberation and holding the line. On the Bakhmut-Horlivka-Donetsk battlefront, the Russian fascist invaders were soundly repulsed by Ukrainian defenders when they tried to attack Odradivka, Mykolayivka Druha, Ozaryanivka, Zaytseve, Mayors'k, Zalizne and Pervomays'ke.

In the south-west of Ukraine, the Russian terrorist state attacked civilians extensively. In Mykolayiv district and Bashtan districts, Ukrainian defenders shot down five "kamikaze" combat UAVs supplied by the Iranian terrorist state.
