Some interesting responses to my recent tweet regarding the education committee in Dundee and moves to strip non councillors of voting rights. Some people have asked for further info so a thread follows: (1/15)
We currently have 8 non-councillors on the committee: Church of Scot Rep, RC Church rep, other faith rep (advertised seeking reps then appointed by Council vote), secondary teacher rep, primary teacher rep (both elected by teachers), 2 x parents (PS + 2ndS), pupil rep. (2/15)
