Responding to this as a thread to clear up confusion on the matter & to catch up new followers.

I have 4 points in response, 2 misconceptions to clear up, & 2 clarifications as to what “Spanish masonry” really is.

1. Spanish masonry isn’t formal with chartered lodges like Freemasonry. Freemasonry’s lodged came from its Templar roots where fugitive Templars camped out in lodges.

With that being said, masonry far predates “freemasonry”. Freemasonry was formalized in 1717 with chartered lodges. Masonry on the other hand predates the formalization

Tabitha is right here. I’d argue this goes back to the 30 years war.

The basis for Descartes project was “well the Catholics and Protestants are killing eacother over religion, so clearly we have to start from scratch.”

Those who defend Christ consciousness will claim that rejecting the “illusion of separation” how you “die to your ego” and see the divinity in one’s self and everything else

If we suppose that the people pushing for a one world religion of occultic perennialism are alchemists - then likewise we can compare their dialectic process to that end with chemistry.
