So. Dai Yongge sold companies to Tai United Holdings.

Tai was then sued because those companies defaulted as guarantors on loans from state owned banks in PRC (Dai also sued).

Tai claims guarantee on these loans not disclosed when they bought the companies

#SellBeforeWeDai Image From what I can gather >¥2bn (£180m) is now owed by Tai Holdings, Dai Yongge and other defendants to state-owned banks in Mainland China.

Heads up to #ReadingFC fans on certain sources of info about Dai Yongge

Over years, rumours about Dai’s connections to elites in China have come through videos like this from Miles Kwok/Guo Wengui

Mini #Thread

@maffff @SellBeforeWeDai @TheTilehurstEnd @CazParker1871 This video above claims that CCP wants to confiscate Dai’s overseas assets.

Other videos that Dai is under house arrest.

But you need to dismiss pretty much anything this Kwok guy says

For the following reasons…

So. The @reformparty_uk candidate for #Garston is from Leicestershire

They’re on electoral roll with a LE67 postcode

However, they’re also listed as an Election Agent (for another Reform candidate) under a different address in Shepshed LE12 9NW - it’s a terrace residence.

The decision taken by the @FA and @premierleague to axe @TheFACup #Replays has angered fans and clubs across the English Football Pyramid

Let’s crunch some numbers! The thread refers to data 📊 on all #FACup #Replays from the 1st Round onwards for 2004/05 to 2023/24 seasons.

Very clearly, no causal relationship btw spend and pts @premierleague

But also shows 2015/16 - 2021/22:

1. No club spending >£200m has been relegated

2. No club spending >£300m has ever finished below 10th

3. Only one club spending >£300m (Chelsea 2015/16) finished below 8th But important to point out

1. 22 clubs spending <£200m finished top 10

2. 6 have finished 1st-4th

3. Strong correlation btw Spend and Points across whole league

4. Weak correlation where clubs spend <£300m

5. Weak correlation where clubs spend >£300m

What does it all mean?

The @premierleague also posted another document today - rejecting request for other clubs to participate as complainants in the @Everton hearing

Some implications here too…. Five clubs filed a request for a general joinder - combining their grievances with the PL.

Leeds
Forest
Southampton
Leicester
Burnley

Looking over the 41 page @premierleague Independent Commission Report on @Everton’s violation of P&S Regulations.

Quite a lot of stuff to unpack.

But the PL have played serious hardball with Everton

#thread Before we do, it’s perhaps important to point out that with serious allegations against @ManCity and @ChelseaFC - the @premierleague may be disincentivising honesty in financial reporting here

If you understand anything about the CCP it’s that they have no guilt or shame about exploiting any vulnerabilities their rivals/enemies may have.

If we leave ourselves open, then we have to expect they will attempt to take advantage. They view this as our problem. Not theirs. In instances where they can exert power, they will do so ruthlessly and callously - as long as it serves their own ends.

Where they lack power, they’ll seek any opportunity to undermine us
