#SaNOtize / Enovid a failure?! The February press release on its Phase 3 trial results got my hopes up. I even bought a bottle for myself in case I got covid. Now, I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED upon reading the full paper: thelancet.com/journals/lanse… This 🧵 highlights a few of my concerns For starters, the PCR test was done with nasal swabs, right where the spray is administered. So how do we know the spray isn’t just masking the test? what if each spray just temporarily reduces viral load in the nose rather than systemic viral load?
