What role can communities play in the transition to net zero?

Have been in Oxford today with community energy businesses from across the country, speaking to @CSkidmoreUK + @innovateuk about the barriers + enablers to supporting more community owned energy. 1/ We discussed how community-owned energy:

1️⃣ leverages other investment into the net zero economy (e.g. via Community Shares)
2️⃣ fosters local support for net zero transition
3️⃣ delivers 13x the community benefit of commercial energy installations
