At the time of Hilary Cass’ appointment, Liz Truss was the Minister for Women & Equalities and Matt Hancock was the Minister for Health.

Both of which *could* have had influence over her appointment (which is possible knowing Truss’ ‘gender critical’ transphobic views)…

The NHS says GPs CAN NOT now refer to the youth gender service. Instead going via CAMHS for “assessment” first! 😣 england.nhs.uk/commissioning/…
Once reaching 17 yrs 9m old, any young person not seen by the youth gender service will be dismissed back to their GP to be referred to the GIC (despite the GP not being considered qualified enough to refer them in the first place) 🤷🏼‍♀️

In the wake of the New York Times being called out for anti-trans bigotry, it’s *entirely* expected the transphobic UK Telegraph publishes a biased article supporting the transphobes.

What you don’t see is they totally rewrote their original article to be more transphobic!.. 😮 THIS was the much more neutral headline published by the Telegraph under exactly the same URL on 15 Feb…

Clearly it wasn’t trans-hostile enough - so much so that it prompted them to rewrite it! This is MUCH more than just adding details to a breaking story!!… 😳
