๐Ÿ”ต The RDA for Carbohydrates in healthy adults is 130gms per day, so anything less than that is considered a Low carb diet as per the guidelines.

this threshold varies from person to person.

๐Ÿ”ต Generally, less than 20 gms Carbs is the standard Keto diet.

๐Ÿ”ต 20-50 gms carbs per day is considered Very low Carb diet & 50- 100 gms carbs per day can be described as Low Carb.

Ofcourse these are much more stringent criteria than what is conventionally considered "Normal".

๐Ÿ”ด Most of you are not eating enough protein. You need atleast 1.2 gms/BW protein & you are not getting that.

๐Ÿ”ด Legit sources of Protein (considering all aspects) are

โœ… Meat
โœ… Fish
โœ… Eggs
โœ… Chicken
โœ… Paneer
โœ… Cheese
โœ… Greek Yoghurt (> than Dahi)
โœ… Whey

๐Ÿ”ด Dal, Rajma, Moong etc can only be counted as secondary sources of Protein. They aren't good enough.

๐Ÿ”ด Soy will mess up your already messed up health even further. A chance you can't take

๐Ÿ”ด Seed Oils/ Refined are toxic af!

๐Ÿ”ด Every time you reheat them (or any oil) you are walking towards disease.

๐Ÿ”ด Saving some money on Oil will bite you back later.

๐Ÿ”ด Use Ghee, Coconut oil, Butter

๐Ÿ”ด Mustard, Groundnut, Sesame oils are not great either. Maybe not as bad as Refined oils. Use sparingly if you wish to.

๐Ÿ”ด You are eating too much Carbs

๐Ÿ”ด Grains mainly. Rice, Wheat, Millets... Sugar too.

๐Ÿ”ด That is why you are getting Diabetic & other Metabolic issues.

๐Ÿ”ด Be proud about your culture & diet all you want, but your food (Idli, Dosa, Poha, Luchi, Kachori, Dhokla....) is not suitable for the modern times. Most of you do zero physical activity & this food is not for that.

๐Ÿ”ด Substituting one type of grain with another won't do anything for you.

๐Ÿ”ด Excess Grains is why you are constantly bloated, farting, acidic etc. That is not normal.

๐Ÿ”ด Most of you including people in 20s have Hyperinsulinemia. Get Fasting/PP Insulin tested.

๐Ÿ”ด Most of you are Vitamin D deficient. You need to Supplement.

๐Ÿ”ด Most of you, especially Vegetarians are deficient in Vitamin B12.

๐Ÿ”ด Leafy greens are not very nutritious either.

๐Ÿ”ด You need to worried about your Triglyceride levels.

๐Ÿ”ด Many of you are walking into a Fatty liver at a very young age.

๐Ÿ”ด Eating Processed food on top of a naturally carb heavy diet is not serving you well.

๐Ÿ”ด Kids will suffer the most. Childhood obesity, diabetes, fatty liver etc are on the rise.

๐Ÿ”ด Stop looking for magic workouts & herbs to solve your issues. Those doesn't work.

๐Ÿ”ด Protein doesn't damage the kidneys!

๐Ÿ”ด Protein doesn't elevate Uric acid!

๐Ÿ”ด Protein doesn't cause Indigestion!

๐Ÿ”ด Whey is not Steroids!

๐Ÿ”ด Protein is not just for bodybuilders.

๐Ÿ”ด Resistance training is a must, for men & women. Otherwise you'll succumb to Sarcopenia & have a miserable ending. That's not part of Ageing, that is part of your crappy living.

๐Ÿ”ด Diabetes is not Genetic, you & your parents are eating same kind of crap then what do you expect?

๐Ÿ”ด Men are having erectile Dysfunction (no need to hide)

๐Ÿ”ด Women are infertile from PCOS
