Here's how I think of web3.
Some protocols are stateless. Each request has the complete context.
Some are stateful. The context is maintained across requests within the same session.
Web3 is super-stateful. The context is maintained not just across requests, but sessions.
Super-stateful: Request happening in 2021 will have the context of the request that happened in 2011.
This is something that's not trivial to wrap your head around. And the implications are even more surreal.
