Sunak's wife, Akshata Murty, is the daughter of a Billionaire. She owns shares worth £430M in her father's company alone, meaning she has more money than the Queen.
Sunak himself, is a former hedge fund manager and Goldmann Sachs banker
who attended the elite boarding school of Winchester College. Today it costs £41,709 to send a child there for one year 😳
Sunak's property holdings span several continents, and just one of his homes in London alone is worth £7M.
This is the man holding down the minimum wage and refusing to properly pay our key workers.
The people making these decisions don't have the faintest idea what life is like without the saftey blanket of financial security.

PROTECT THE NHS RALLY
SCRAP THE HEALTH AND CARE BILL
Wednesday 8 September 7-9pm on Zoom
Register today in advance for this webinar here:
us02web.zoom.us/.../reg.../WN_…
New NHS legislation is changing healthcare in Britain, making it less accessible, less accountable, and less safe for staff and patients.
The Health and Care Bill makes the NHS more vulnerable to privatisation than ever, with increased involvement in decision making by private
companies, putting profit before patients. Our NHS is already struggling after years of austerity, privatisation, understaffing, low-pay and the fall-out from fighting on the front line of the COVID pandemic. This dangerous bill is more of the same. Don’t let it destroy our NHS.

The drought plaguing central China for months has left more than one million people without proper drinking water and crimped output of hydroelectric power, China's second-biggest energy source, as water levels at nearly 1,400 reservoirs in Hubei province have fallen below
the operational level, according to government figures. (STR/AFP/Getty Images)

The “Starts at Home” incompetent innumerates
by speyejoe2
The social rented sector has its annual "Starts at Home" day today when it celebrates what supported housing achieves which on the surface nothing wrong with that except the usual no more than a few dozen human interest
stories alluding to represent the reality for some 700,000 who live in supported housing.
A cherry-picking of stories to allude to the overall picture is par for the course and is always an illusion and frankly a PR con trick.
Yet the real bugbear is the chronic innumeracy of the demand for support funding....
The innumerate £1.6bn of support funding
The £1.6 billion per year is the central government funding for support called "Supporting People" at the point when the ring fence was removed 2008/09

A Ohio judge ordered a hospital to give the horse drug ivermectin to a Covid-19 patient last month despite the doctors’ protest.

The Butler County judge said in an Aug. 23 ruling that West Chester Hospital must
fulfill the patient's wife's request and administer the drug prescribed to Jeffrey Smith, 51, by a doctor unaffiliated with the hospital.
Ivermectin is a drug primarily used to deworm animals and has become the latest false cure for Covid-19. The FDA has not approved it

ABBOTT AND COSTELLO’S ‘WHO’S BEEN VACCINATED?’ 😆😆😆
Bud: ‘You can’t come in here!’
Lou: ‘Why not?’
Bud: ‘Well because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But I’m not sick.’
Bud: ‘It doesn’t matter.’
Lou: ‘Well, why does that guy get to go in?’
Bud: ‘Because he’s vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But he’s sick!’
Bud: ‘It’s alright. Everyone in here is vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘Wait a minute. Are you saying everyone in there is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Yes.’
Lou: ‘So then why can’t I go in there if everyone is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Because you’ll make them sick.’
Lou: ‘How will I make them sick if I’m NOT sick and they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘But they can still get sick.’
Lou: ‘So what the heck does the vaccine do?’
Bud: ‘It vaccinates.’

Courtesy reminder that Rishi Sunak MP, the man in charge of the country's purse strings and perhaps the strongest voice insisting that the extra £20 a week to those on Universal Credit must be cut, is one of the richest men in the country.

The Real Price of your Cell Phone | Mobile Phone | Investigative Documentary from 2014

A mobile phone is sold every 57 seconds meaning that there are now more mobile phones on the planet than toothbrushes. We investigated the shameful secrets of the multinationals
who produce our mobile phones. They are the big winners of the mobile revolution as their profits explode but what is the human and environmental cost in the production countries of China and the Congo?
We bring exclusive footage from inside Chinese factories
where scores of children are working long hours under arduous conditions. The multinationals claim they are doing all they can, but these shocking images say otherwise. In Africa the mines that retrieve minerals essential to components in our smartphones

I'm disgusted by how much land is owned and occupied by the rich in this sad country, known as corporate UK.
Today, a wealthy tory voter, holding a new born tory sprog, asked me what I was doing on his land. I couldn't find anywhere to pull over on the main road
through the countryside, because all the car parks demand a fee, and all the fields, roadsides, lay-bys, country lanes, anywhere other than a high speed A-road, is private land, owned by wealthy tory-voting feudalists. The only places left for public use, are the main roads.
On each side of the roads, every acre of land belongs to the rich and greedy imperialists who have devastated the economy and robbed the civilisation of its resources.
My friend has multiple sclerosis, and had a headache, was hot, and felt sick. On each side of the roads,

‘Vaccism’….A term that encompasses the forceful erosion of bodily autonomy and the rise of a dogmatic ideology that demands almost every living soul be vaccinated regardless of efficacy, safety, need or ethics.
We have a novel virus that only severely impacts a very small portion of society within a set of reasonably definable risk categories, YET somehow we are allowing the response to the virus to decimate the very fabric of society itself by tolerating the sweeping erosion
of our long-standing rights.
How has it now become possible that an experimental drug in its trial phase can be rolled out to children without the explicit consent from parents?

Joe Biden’s rebuff to Boris Johnson over Afghanistan proves that the “global Britain” strategy the prime minister set out only five months ago is already obsolete. The foundation stone of the integrated review of security and foreign policy was the US remaining
“the UK’s most important strategic ally and partner.” Johnson told MPs: “Our influence will be amplified by stronger alliances and wider partnerships – none more valuable to British citizens than our relationship with the US.”
With Biden sticking to his 31 August deadline for pulling out of Afghanistan at Tuesday’s meeting of G7 leaders, the once special relationship proved not “valuable” enough for the Afghans the UK wants to evacuate from their country. I thought the most revealing comment came from

Labour is no longer a viable vehicle for social change. That should be obvious.
If the time wasn't right to take on the right of the party with a Socialist leader and hundreds of thousands of Socialists joining the Labour Party. There is no chance of it happening now.
Left wing Labour mp' had their chance. The right of the party are corrupt dishonest, racist abusive and did everything to destroy any chance of a Socialist Labour government. Only 40 Labour mp's didn't vote no confidence in Corbyn.
Corbyn and McDonnell's priority was to stop right wing Labour mp's from leaving because it would have split the party. No left wing Labour mp would fight back, stand up for truth and justice or show any solidarity with Socialist members.

OFFICIAL SECRETS FILM (Netflix)
A remarkable movie with a strong relevant issue .
If you want to witness the reality behind war crime intentionally done by world superpowers against other country then this is a must watch movie . Kudos to Director & entire team
for bringing an awakening script based on real life story "the spy who tried to stop a war " .
Human history is full of such war crime committed in order to show the supremacy but actually they in turn defamed whole nation & deteriorated the accountability of government
to the people who elected them . If you are working for a secret organization who hides the confidential information relevant to public then can exposing them should be considered as crime against nation ? Matter of fact is as responsible citizen we have right to know

Did Labour really lose for this reason?
#rickycoxon
Remember when 4 million new voters registered? When 2 in 3 of those registrations were under the age of 35? Remember when the polls predicted a hung parliament (or maybe only a very small Tory majority)?
A private Tory poll had the gap at just 4pts the queues of young people at polling stations on election day? So why then, when every single poll in the last 2 years suggested that if there was another referendum ‘REMAIN’ would win did we vote for bunch hard-right Brexiteers?
Also, how did just 300,000 more votes than in 2017 deliver such a massive victory for the Tories (they went from 13.6m to 13.9m)? & how did Labour win a majority in 2005 with 9.5m votes but got virtually wiped out in 2019 with 10.3m votes?
So what happened? Why did we lose?

The systematic back door breakdown of our #NHS. When did it become normal that a hospital has to submit a tender and business plan to serve their clinic better? It's been going on for years. Even the likes of bidding for delivering oxygen cylinders to patients with COPD
The NHS vs an expensive private company.
And Labour have done sweet FA to stop this.
I have a friend who has to write these tenders for Aintree (Fazakerley ). Seriously?! The NHS is OURS!! Why are we in competition with private healthcare companies
(tories are on the boards at least but usually have shares in them) ?! Blojob and co are all in cahoots with US healthcare companies!
FACT- the NHS payroll is run by a private company. They are useless.

Nobody is criticising military personnel. People are criticising the #government
People are criticising British reactions in Kabul but are they aware of the facts from someone actually there and witnessing the British Troops in Afghanistan?
Jane Ferguson:
The #BritishMilitary here at #KabulAirport have shown breathtaking levels of toughness, professionalism and - rare in war times I must say - compassion. I've been moved to tears by their actions, diving into dangerous crowds to pull visa-holders into the base….
guarding sleeping women and children, helping them find the right transportation to the US air strip for their flights, pulling their own food out of their pockets and handing it to refugees in need, sleeping out on the cement, little supplies, parched in the sun…

PETER MANDELSON, a key Labour figure and pro-EU campaigner, was in 2019 organising a caviar-and-oysters dinner for Tory cabinet minister Michael Gove to meet “investors” and “corporates” to discuss “to what extent is Brexit an opportunity.”
Mandelson is currently a semi-official adviser to Keir #Starmer’s team. Morgan McSweeney, who was Starmer’s chief of staff and is now Labour’s “elections director,” is particularly close to Mandelson.
Mandelson was one of the leaders of the “people’s vote” campaign, which persuaded Labour to run on a second referendum on Brexit policy in the December 2019 election.
Labour advanced in the 2017 election on a policy of respecting the EU referendum,

Permission to share from a friend . ,
The Tory party are allowing 5000 refugees from Afghan to resettle here over the next year, and 20000 over a 5 year period.
These men, women & children are fleeing war & probable death. Hoping to come to a country that will offer them,
at minimum, safety, security & freedom to live.
These desperate people have neither caused nor worsen the current issues we face in this country, they are not
-over stretching the NHS, the Tories are underfunding it.
-Taking up homes, the Tories simply don’t build affordable and/or social housing.
-Taking up doctors apts (see point one).
-Taking up school places (see point one)
-Causing ex-service personnel to be homeless.
-Taking ‘our’ jobs.
-‘scrounging’ benefits

Consider this. Tony #Blair was Britain’s leading advocate for war with Iraq in 2003. In 2021,
Tony Blair is Britain’s leading advocate for #vaccine passports. “I think you’re going to the stage where it’s going to be very hard for people to do a lot of normal life
The truth is that what is today billed by establishment media as ‘centrism’ and ‘moderation’ is in fact the polar opposite. The conservative commentator Peter Hitchens was absolutely right to say that Blairism – which has become hegemonic not just in Britain but across
the Western world – was much more extreme than Corbynism, which was actually only revived traditionally British radicalism. Hitchens said that Blairism was more ‘left-wing’ but that’s only true in a limited cultural sense.
