In April, Coinbase announced changes to its user agreement that added two clauses limiting class action lawsuits and requiring lawsuits to be filed in New York. The changes apply to disputes initiated after May 15.

The people now in charge of the Office of Personnel Management apparently don’t know how to scrub PDF metadata, and have exposed the original authors of the guidance they’re publishing. Two, Noah Peters and James Sherk, have links to the Heritage Foundation and Project 2025. Former FTX exec Ryan Salame has pled guilty to two charges in the ongoing FTX trial. Many had been wondering when an indictment would come out against him, particularly as his donations to Republican political causes had already been alleged to have been straw donations. Salame (pronounced "Salem", not "salami") was mentioned in the prosecutors' motions in limine, which revealed that they had access to some of his personal communications.
