I suppose the issue is with anti-masking and anti-vaxxing is that because it is a complicated reason as to why they work, the average anti-person knows it is made up, as their lives are constructed of simple cause and effect scenarios? All they need to see is someone stumble over *why* something works and they jump upon it, citing that as proof that it is all a conspiracy, maybe?
