1. STATEMENT: Vote based on State government’s track record. Do you want to know what’s the saddest thing here?

Read the whole thread 👇 Image 2. The fact that the State elections, where voters r supposed to scrutinise how well the State govs have performed, r instead being fashioned as a referendum for PMX

1. This is an account of modern-day slavery, forced labour and abuse perpetrated against a group of migrant workers from Bangladesh.

Part 2

Read the whole thread 👇 2. Ahmed's eyes were hopeful but tinged with a heavy dose of frustration, helplessness, and despair. He is scrawny, of medium height, and comes from a poor family.

I came to know of Ahmed when he and his friends posted a plea for help on my official Facebook page.

STATEMENT: My appeal was dismissed by The Court of Appeal on Tuesday, a decision I respectfully disagree with.

If the constitutional limits or requirements are not fulfilled, there must be redress in the courts. (1/7) Image I have instructed my lawyers to file an application in the Federal Court for permission to appeal against this decision. (2/7)

STATEMENT: The decision on my appeal that the caretaker PM should not have advised His Majesty to dissolve Parliament unilaterally, without the support of cabinet, has been reserved for Tuesday, 4pm.
(1/6) My lawyers argued that @IsmailSabri60 could only have done so in a loss-of-confidence scenario.

This was clearly not the case, as the dissolution was a general dissolution under Article 55(2) of the Federal Constitution.

STATEMENT:

Please don’t tarnish my integrity to manage backlash

Let me make this clear: the Democratic Action Party (DAP) never informed me that 2018 would be the last time I would be fielded as a candidate.

Read the whole thread 👇 There were no such arrangements and no indication about calls to replace me (or who made these calls) in 2013 or 2018, as suggested by Selangor DAP Chairman, Gobind Singh Deo.

Thank you Klang

It’s been an incredible 15 years, where I have enjoyed your trust and friendship. I am deeply grateful for your support and I hope that I have done good by it. My biggest commitment to you, the people of Klang, was to represent you in Parliament; to be your voice. I apologise if I have fallen short but I want you to know I have tried.

Deep gratitude to all of you who have been a part of my political journey.

1. What a selfish man. Zahid Hamidi doesn’t say a word about aid or efforts to save lives if floods happen during an election campaign. He’s solely focused on mobilising the election machinery & winning power. 2. Zahid should organise an UMNO flood brigade to help people fleeing their houses becos of floods just like ordinary folks did, instead of asking people to vote. How can this guy b trusted to lead a country? Shameless.

Malaysia's 14th General Elections will be the people of Malaysia against Najib Razak

(This is a thread)

facebook.com/charlessantiag… On May 9, we will go out to cast our votes to determine the future of our country.

The General Election is held on a working day, clearly a malicious intent to ensure a low voter turnout, despite all the underhand tactics to steal the election.
