This tweet prompted a conversation about the importance of religious figure Peter Cottontail in the Easter narrative. Per the prooftext: "Hippity hoppin', Easter's on its way / Bringin' every girl and boy / Baskets full of Easter joy..."
Q1: Is it appropriation for us to use the name "Peter Cottontail" if we're not Christian? Would it be better if we were to call him "Peter of Naperville, IL" instead, as we're not true believers in tails of cotton and their significance to the Easter story?

It's taken me a while, but I'm going to say something that's been haunting me for the past 25 years due to its stigma by the career-oriented world we live in, as well as the social stigma which has affected my perception of self-worth:
I don't have a college degree.

I came pretty close to getting one--after 5 years at the Univ. of MD in the 1990s. I was never a stellar student, getting mostly Bs and Cs. Things took a turn downward when I found myself feeling hopeless, unable to concentrate or function in school.
