Since my participation at the EndSars protests in 2020, up until now, I have been bullied online, harassed, issued death threats, dehumanized and subjected to all kinds of insults and attacks.
February 13, 2021, I was brutalized by the Nigerian Police.
A Thread… The officers that beat me and 39 others up told me categorically that I was a pain in the Governor’s flesh and that if I continued to protest or speak up, I would be killed sooner or later. Government supporters laughed and trolled me. Up till this moment, they still do.

I went to visit my mother 2 weeks ago. I was giving out money to some people in the neighborhood as I always do anytime I go home. A woman walked up to me and asked why I am against a particular candidate.. I said I am not against anyone. All I want is for a better country… And that can only happen when we vote in good leaders.
The next thing she said is that I should better watch myself because they know where my people live. I asked if that was a threat and she continued saying all sorts. My sister and manager were with me and I have a video!!

Honestly, I have tried so hard not to say anything about this issue but I have seen some comments and conclusions that do not really sit well with me. My conscience will not allow me to keep mute. So I have to say what I know for my conscience and posterity. First, I do not think there is an association of skit makers. If there is, then I don’t know anything about it. And that would be fine because I am an Actor/Thespian first before the Tag “Skit Maker”.

I see now that some of us only hate corruption, nepotism, impunity and bad governance because we do not benefit from it. Once we do, corruption is no longer black and white. It is color grey. We give corruption a new name and we even justify it. I have had conversations with some people who strongly opine that Nigeria can never be better. And they say this with all conviction.. trust me to argue with all my strength and might that Nigeria will be better!! However, it seems we are caught up in one big circle.

Haaa!!! Na when I shit finish I dey ask myself; how did this happen? So, I took a quick break yesterday from @tkelani ‘s Movie Set of AYINLA to come attend @Official1960Bet ‘s event in Lagos.
The plan was to get back to Abeokuta as early as possible this morning.
Before I slept, I treated myself to some nice fish, chips and fruits salad. 🌚
