Warning: Long Thread

There has been something I have been debating on sharing for quite some time now. I’ve been letting fear keep me from sharing this, but after seeing some people call out @ryanjespersen and how he keeps causing harm and keeps refusing to actually learn (thanks @_MommaShip and @kimpagegluckie), I think it is time I have the courage to share as well.

So buckle up friends, here is a behind-the-scenes look at what it was like being the partner of @RealTalkRJ’s former technical producer.

Kind of struggling with conflicting feelings right now.

My dad and aunt are busy clearing out the house of her former partner who was incredibly abusive to her and the people around her. I hate him for being an awful person.

But I also know his addiction made him that person. It's really difficult to reconcile this deep-seated disgust and hatred with pity. The good part of me wants to try to see the man who may have been. The part of me that knows substance abuse is ultimately a medical issue.

But he also was so damn awful.
