In 2016 a 170 place child care centre was approved for this site. This began a 7 year fight by MTAG & health & air quality experts to highlight how inappropriate & dangerous it was.
It featured in academic papers &media articles for years 🧵 Image Air monitoring carried out by the QUT International Laboratory for Air Quality & Health found that air pollution here measured three times what the World Health Organisation considers to be safe research.qut.edu.au/ilaqh/projects…
