Here is how to use Reddit to find users for your SaaS
(we've used these methods to bootstrap our SaaS to over $750,000 in annual recurring revenue)
👇
First step: Find and join the subreddits relevant to your niche.
For our SaaS called OneUp (a social media scheduling tool), some of the relevant subreddits are r/socialmedia, r/marketing, and r/socialmediamarketing

If you’re not a developer and want to start a startup, you need to find a technical co-founder
The alternative route of hiring a dev to build your idea will be way more expensive than you think
But if your not a dev, you should be bringing some solid marketing or sales chops to the table
Being the “business” guy doesn’t mean much when you’re bootstrapping an early stage startup

Something I haven't mentioned much:
I've watched our now 2-year-old daughter full-time while growing OneUp to $50k+ MRR
It's hard, but it can be done
"Couldn't you just pay for daycare or a babysitter?"
Yeah. But I really enjoy getting to spend every day with her.

A while back, I created a spreadsheet of every single social media scheduling tool
That included each tool's:
- Supported social networks
- Starting monthly $ price
- Whether it had a free-forever plan
I hadn't touched it for a year or so... so I decided to go back in and update all the information for each scheduling tool.
My goal is for this spreadsheet to be the #1 resource for anyone who is looking for or comparing different social media scheduling tools.

Today is YC's Demo Day, where founders try their hardest to give away control of their company.
Let's celebrate bootstrapped and self-funded founders with our own "Demo Day". Reply with:
1. A description of your company in 10 words or less 2. MRR (if any) 3. Link to your site
I'll go first:
1. OneUp is a social media scheduling tool 2. $55k MRR 3. oneupapp.io

We've reached $55k MRR. Just 2 co-founders, no employees.
"How did you do it? What acquisition channels?"
Short answer: SEO

Just reached a major milestone: $50k MRR
We've been able to reach this level with only me and my co-founder Vishal - no employees.
The crazy thing is... Vishal and I have never met in person, even though we've been working together for 3 years.

If you want to build a SaaS, but you're not sure what to build, I recommend:
- Building something in an already established market
- Have it do 1 thing well (can be simple to start)
- Initially compete on price (or generous freemium plan)
- Get some users
(more)...
- Collect reviews and testimonials to add social proof
- Add more features based on what your users are asking for
- Gradually raise prices as you get closer to feature parity with your competitors

I debated keeping this to myself for selfish reasons 😅, but sharing anyway:
A free and easy way to find Quora questions with over 1,000 views, but only 1 answer
