Just in case people do not know, Palestine is a legitimate country, a State colonised and captured by Israel illegally against International Law.
Out of 193 members, 146 UN member States recognize Palestine. It's only the US Veto stopping Palestine's full UN membership. One needs common sense to understand that neither UN can grant full membership to Palestine, thanks to US Veto.
Nor is UN able to put any sanctions or have a ceasefire as Israel continues its terr0rist attacks in Palestine and neighbouring countries- thanks to US Veto.

There is a difference between putting an opinion (Arundhati Roy) and putting an opinion inciting violence (Nupur Sharma, Kangana Ranaut).
Free speech rights do not flow in the second category if judged fairly, but in the first case. Supreme Court took cognizance of the brutal hatecrime of Udaipur that was clearly related to the hateful speech by Nupur Sharma made with SOLE intention of inciting violence. I wonder why she wasn't arrested.

My late grandfather was 17 years old during 1947 partition when he fled from Jhang, Punjab to take refuge in Jalandhar, Punjab.
Before partition, JAN SANGH did not allow him and other Hindu kids to take their Urdu Exam. Jan Sangh said that you will pass dont worry, but no need to take the exam because its a language of Muslims.

My grandfather knew Urdu as well. Many of his docs are in Urdu, I sought help from him whenever I had to scrutinize a legal document written in Urdu.
