@dublincycling @DublinCommuters some thoughts for you in relation Monday night's council meeting and the 30km/h proposal.

My political assessment of the situation was that the proposal as formulated would die on the floor of the Chamber (or the Round Room in this instance). Where was the evidence of support for it? Where was the poll of Councillors indicating majority backing? Where was the co-ordinated push from the "Dublin Agreement" parties to get it across the line.

Nowhere.
