I couldn't find info on CDC/FDA about which cells the mRNAs interact with, once inside the body. Found a helpful paper on the topic...
In 2019, @PhilipJSantang1 et al. studied how the mRNAs (in this case, yellow-fever vaccine mRNA) spreads in the body up to 28 hours post injection.
They used monkeys in the study and used PET-CT imaging to track location of the mRNAs over time. nature.com/articles/s4155…
