For me it’s actually really easy to debate the pros and cons of Biden and Sanders because I didn’t want it to come down to either of them and I kinda can’t believe we’re heading into the most important election in our history with these two flawed dorks as our options. It’s like when you’re trying to cast something and the actors you really wanted were all booked up, so you hold auditions and no one really stands out as the obvious choice so you just wind up debating really strange aspects about each while staring at their headshots.

Can I say a potentially controversial, semi-shitty thing? On Twitter? Is that allowed?

There’s the kind where you use the non-forgettable event as a mirror. A rock bottom. A chance to grow.

And there’s the vengeful, fearful kind where “Never forget” is a kind of threat.
