Katanji Brown Jackson was lambasted for being a public defender and labeled as being soft on crime. Harris is labeled as contributing to mass incarceration. These attacks came from the same people….

I watched the entire hearing in the Young Thug trial that lead to his attorney Brian Steele being held in contempt. The judge was completely wrong and out of line. There’s no other way to put it. The judge had an ex parte conversation with a witness who refused to testify. 1/ This is unethical and violates the defendant’s constitutional rights b/c they have the right to be present at every part of the trial. Also, the witness was actively under oath and testifying and it could lead to the appearance that he’s being influenced by the court. Also, 2/

I HATE that every time a verified account of a woman being abused comes out, people try to shoe horn in Amber Heard. It is manipulative because people that aren’t informed will understandably think that Heard is just like Cassie or Megan. It’s insulting to victims to do this

The newest Diddy lawsuit is very unprofessionally written. First, these pictures of the people involved is unnecessary and served no purpose other than to be entertainment for the general public. You don’t need to put pictures of parties . This one is particularly shady 🧵 2nd, there are references to celebrities that pretends to redact their names while giving the reader overly obvious clues to who they are. Just name the parties. I never talk about my job on here, except in the most general terms but as a public defender please listen to her. Courts must stay open to the public and easily accessible. Court Watch PG has helped many indigent clients and should be allowed to do so

In that SW they made three false allegations (a) Breonna Taylor’s ex boyfriend was receiving packages to her home (b) he lived in her residence and (c) the post office confirmed this

So he had to prove by “a preponderance of the evidence” that AH published a statement, that was false, that harmed his reputation, that was about him… Because JD is a public figure, he had to prove that AH acted with “actual malice” in doing these things, which is a higher standard than what non public figures face. This means AH acted with a reckless disregard for the truth and didn’t just honestly believe her claims….
