Saw this post on LinkedIn, and sadly it’s not the first time I see a graduate complaining that they’re not able to secure their ‘dream’ job despite scoring well in their degrees or having multiple awards & honors.
Sadly, that’s the reality of life.

Your degree is just a piece of paper - that’s pretty much it.
A thick & expensive piece of paper that shows employers that you are able to understand and memorize theories & churn them out during exams. That you know how to study and score well.

Most universities, regardless of countries, usually have something like this. Either OneDrive, Box, Google Drive, confirm universities will provide at least one of these for students.
So make sure you utilize all of these when you’re a student!
Other things that students tend to take for granted:
1) Counselling services.
Universities usually offer free (or cheap) counselling services for students. Make use of them. Talk to someone if you're having issues. They can usually help you if you ask for it.

PSA thread: Studying Overseas.
If you're thinking about applying for any universities abroad for your studies (undergraduate, Master's, PhD), please ensure that you have at least three or four possible plans on how to finance your studies BEFORE applying to the universities.
These plans might include things like:
1) Having a list of scholarships from Malaysian companies / organizations that you can apply to, such as Bank Negara, Khazanah, Petronas, MARA/JPA, etc.
