Yesterday, @FrankLaRose referred 600-odd cases of alleged voter fraud to the Attorney General.

It is just the latest example of LaRose's bad faith effort to cast doubt on an election system he himself refers to as the "gold standard."

Buckle up 🧵 The 600+ cases are re-referrals after local prosecutors didn't take the case.

"Unfortunately, many of these referrals have not been pursued by law enforcement, sometimes by choice and other times due to limited prosecutorial capacity," LaRose argued.

That's bogus.

.@ColumbusPolice have released an enormous wave of new public records tied to the shooting of #andrehill. Going through them now. Two quick things from the body cam worn by Ofc. Detweiler: it appears Hill's phone was in the middle of a text conversation (doesn't appear to be recording) and a woman in a nearby house yells "he was coming to bring me christmas money."

Based on @MayorGinther’s comments it’s looking like BakerHostetler’s investigation into citizen complaints after Columbus protests were largely “not sustained.” Basically, they could neither prove nor disprove the allegations of excessive use of force.

Right now, Columbus leaders including @MayorGinther, @CityAttyKlein, @SG_Hardin & @ChiefQuinlan are giving updates on police reform. First up, Quinlan is elaborating on a policy advisory panel.

He and Ginther began talking about this a week or two ago. Quinlan says the first meeting will be in July, Ginther says he and city council have selected 14 members for the council.
