Currently stuck on the 805 freeway hurriedly impromptu making @Comic_Con freebie mask swag to give out
My bag is gonna look like this. I'm just going to carry about 15 boxes and a bunch of masks for now

I finally added a battery to my @SmartAirFilters QT3 using this brilliant hack from @CC14_CC14. It really just takes a small jeweler's file against the lid to make the edit. (Also remember to file an opening into the resting lip on the actual unit, too)
I made my wiring hole to the right of that little center clasp out of laziness. (It is indeed haphazard, I'll file it flush later)

Been hanging out at home in a @flo_mask. My parents are wondering why I won't eat with them and I take my food alone. I was at Disneyland all day 2 days ago and I personally feel it's too soon! My 5 day incubation really freaked me out.
I can't control if they give it to me, but I'm still on that quest to *never* be the one to give it to them and so far I've been successful. Most Maskingest Streak still going

Spent the first day of the year 2023 at Disneyland. Daytime crowds were unusually sparser, probably from all the New Years Eve hangovers and the fact that it had been pouring rain from 12/31 until the AMs, but evening regained the usual crowd strength even with the dip to 45F
It was an all-day masked indoors-outdoors marathon in @flo_mask and @masklabglobal KF series masks! I got pretty dented by the time I got home, but I'm full of churros and Mickey pretzels, so that helps

The fear that I have is not only that I'll get covid but more that I'm the one whose fault it was that someone else got it. So when I mask up, I mask HARD to make a whole point that I'm the Most Maskingest B*tch in this room so it's not my fault you can't blame me
To some extent it's Mask theater: so if Grandma so-and-so gets it and goes under the ventilator this season, then just look at how my mask was this much bigger than the rest of you weak excuses for descendants who couldn't even put up a single mask to spare Grandma

My spam texters live in a world of beauty and urgency, where with a recently met friend, the next day one can go to a wedding together, play ball, introduce themselves out of the blue
What if I was Melissa? and the new intriguing friend I met at the gallery opening would actually fly me to Mandy's shotgun wedding in Vegas. I don't even know Mandy. I'm just her dog groomer and I keep her teacup Pomeranian perfectly dyed into a rainbow panda. For the 'gram

This year I feel like it's very true that nothing you spend time designing is ever wasted, it always ends up getting used later somewhere in a future project. E.g. here's a pic from the final photoshoot of my entry for metal plating design competition in design school
My POV was to play on the transformation power of masks (and that plating itself was a mask) Also I was broke AF so this was like $2 baling wire, the cheapest sheet metal I could find, and then stupid high amounts of labor overkill on my part

In 3 days I went to Kentia Hall, Exhibit Hall, the Entertainment Hall, panel in Petree Hall, panel in Main Events + JW Marriott lobby, second floor waiting for Platinum Ballroom, and panel in Platinum Ballroom. I did not do any other events at #AnimeExpo
At the Exhibit Hall, there was a big difference in the readings at the Bandai Namco area between Day 1 and Day 3- it started off strong at around 800 to 900 ppm but by Day 3 it was consistent with the rest of the show floor at 1300 to 1400 ppm

I got covid at the beginning of the month. Even 3x vaccinated, it was still a terrible, scary experience as what I thought was a run of the mill sinus infection got more and more painful. I wished that I had more anecdotes on ppl's experiences at the time. Here's how mine went
Bc I WFH, didn't leave the house for weeks, I knew that I had gotten infected Saturday, which I put as Day -3. -1 symptoms started happening. All week, temps of 65F. Suddenly on Day -1 it became 88F and I thought it was allergies. Quar just in case
