A 9 year old Australian girl was suspended today because she wouldn’t stand during the national anthem. Her reasoning was that she feels it disregards the indigenous aboriginals who were here before us. I’ve never seen SO many people mad over a 9 year old telling the truth. There was one comment that said “take her to a museum to teach her the history of the country she lives in.” I’m sorry, Australia doesn’t have a museum showcasing the massacre committed by white settlers. They don’t teach that in school, let alone have it on display at museums.
